— All submissions must be original, unpublished*
works that have not previously won any competitions or prizes.
— Submissions may not currently be submitted or
under consideration for another publication.
— We accept any form of art that can be printed on
the page including illustration, photography, graphic design, painting and

images no higher than 72dpi and no larger than 250kb. If your image is selected
for publication, we will contact you for a high-resolution version.
— All images must be in JPEG format.
— Accepted submissions will be printed in colour
(unless submitted/specified to be printed in grayscale).
— Each image must be saved as your initials and
numbered if you submit two different files (e.g. initials_1.jpg,
initials_2.jpg). The number used in the title must correspond with a name given
to the artwork and should be included at the bottom of the cover letter (e.g.

— A total of three images per person may be submitted.
A submission of one portfolio allowed per person.
— Pieces that are part of a series of artwork will

be selected while others may not.
— There is an AUD$7.00 entrance fee for image
submissions, however, this is the total fee for each submitter regardless of
whether one or three images are submitted. However, we are willing to waive submission fees for those in difficult circumstances.

Visible Ink reserves the right to disregard any works submitted that do not follow these guidelines.

*Unpublished refers to any work not published by print or online publications. Any works published on personal social media are therefore eligible for submission.
